moral story

Moral Story : The Donkey’s Brain

Let us enjoy reading this story of The Donkey’s Brain.

In the forest lived a lion. He had a jackal as his partner. They both always went together for hunting. The lion used to kill the animals and the jackal got his share for helping the lion then and there.

One day, the lion fell-sick. He could not go out. But he was very hungry. He called the jackal and said, "Dear friend, I am hungry. But, I am too sick to hunt. You have to help me get some food".

The jackal went off in search of prey. He found a donkey at last. He said to the donkey, "Hello, Donkey Sir! The king of the forest wants to make you his minister". The foolish donkey was too happy to think of the plot. He followed the jackal. The lion killed the donkey. But, before eating, he felt so thirsty. He said to the jackal, “Take care of the donkey. I will return in no time".

As soon as the lion left, the jackal started eating the brain of the donkey. When the lion returned he found the donkey's brain missing.

He asked the jackal. "Where is the donkey's brain?"

The jackal answered timidly, "If he had a brain would he have come here?"

Other local tourist attractions include the famous Pallava-era Ganesha temple and the Madurai Nayak-era fort. The fort complex has witnessed fierce battles between the Madurai Nayakas and Adil Shahi dynasty of BijapurCarnatic region and Maratha Imperial forces. The fort played an important part during the Carnatic Wars, helping lay the foundations of the British Empire in India. The Rockfort is the most prominent landmark of the city.[3]

29.12.2017

                           29.12.2017
today i'm going to meenakshi temple it's a superb experiance.and lot of informations i gathered.Meenakshi Temple, also referred to as Meenakshi Amman or Minakshi-Sundareshwara Temple,[1] is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River[2] in the temple city[3] of MaduraiTamil NaduIndia. It is dedicated to Meenakshi, a form of Parvati, and her consort, Sundareswar, a form of Shiva.[4][5] The temple is at the center of the ancient temple city of Madurai mentioned in the Tamil Sangam literature, with the goddess temple mentioned in 6th century CE texts.[6]
Meenakshi Temple
Tiru-aalavai

Though the temple has historic roots, most of the present campus structure was rebuilt after the 14th century CE, further repaired, renovated and expanded in the 17th century by Thirumalai Nayak.[7][8] In early 14th century, the armies of Delhi Sultanate led by Muslim Commander Malik Kafur plundered the temple, looted it of its valuables and destroyed the Madurai temple town along with many other temple towns of South India.[9][10][11] The contemporary temple is the result of rebuilding efforts started by the Vijayanagara Empire rulers who rebuilt the core and reopened the temple.[9][12] In the 16th century, the temple complex was further expanded and fortified by the Nayak ruler Vishwanatha Nayakar and later others. The restored complex now houses 14 gopurams(gateway towers), ranging from 45–50m in height, with the southern gopura tallest at 51.9 metres (170 ft). The complex has numerous sculpted pillared halls such as Ayirakkal (1,000 pillar hall), Kilikoondu-mandapam, Golu-mandapam and Pudu-mandapam. Its shrines are dedicated to Hindu deities and Shaivism scholars, with the vimanas above the garbhagrihas (sanctums) of Meenakshi and Sundaresvara guilded with gold

story

நான் இன்று ஒரு கதை படித்தேன்.அதை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன்.

தந்திர நரி (Sly Fox)

leave

Just as sleep is necessary for our body similarly holidays are important for relaxation and change – they provide relief from the monotony of our daily routine. They are important for our mental and emotional well being.
Holidays! Holidays! Holidays who does not wait for them? Holidays give us a break from our routine and help us to refresh ourselves and go back to work with renewed energy.
They are not only meant for enjoying but also for pursuing our hobbies and interests. During holidays we can live our life as we want.
There are no rules for getting up in the morning and going to school, coming back home, having lunch, playing for a short while and then completing the home work.
We are our own rulers as we manage our time according lo our own wish; we play, visit places, pursue our hobbies and are relaxed.

holidays

holiday is a day set aside by custom or by law on which normal activities, especially business or work including school, are suspended or reduced. Generally, holidays are intended to allow individuals to celebrate or commemorate an event or tradition of cultural or religious significance. Holidays may be designated by governments, religious institutions, or other groups or organizations. The degree to which normal activities are reduced by a holiday may depend on local laws, customs, the type of job being held or even personal choices.
The concept of holidays often originated in connection with religious observances. The intention of a holiday was typically to allow individuals to tend to religious duties associated with important dates on the calendar. In most modern societies, however, holidays serve as much of a recreational function as any other weekend days or activities.
In many societies there are important distinctions between holidays designated by governments and holidays designated by religious institutions. For example, in many predominantly Christian nations, government-designed holidays may center on Christian holidays, though non-Christians may instead observe religious holidays associated with their faith. In some cases, a holiday may only be nominally observed. For example, many Jews in the Americas and Europe treat the relatively minor Jewish holiday of Hanukkahas a "working holiday", changing very little of their daily routines for this day.
The word holiday has differing connotations in different regions. In the United States the word is used exclusively to refer to the nationally, religiously or culturally observed day(s) of rest or celebration, or the events themselves, whereas in the United Kingdomand other Commonwealth nations, the word may refer to the period of time where leave from one’s duties has been agreed, and is used as a synonym to the US preferred vacation. This time is usually set aside for rest, travel or the participation in recreational activities, with entire industries targeted to coincide or enhance these experiences. The days of leave may not coincide with any specific customs or laws. Employers and educational institutes may designate ‘holidays’ themselves which may or may not overlap nationally or culturally relevant dates, which again comes under this connotation, but it is the first implication detailed that this article is concerned with.

environment

Environment

Surrounding of an organism or population
Black Creek
Example of natural environment
Example of built environment
Environment is everything that is around us. It can be living or nonliving things. It includes physicalchemical and other natural forces. Living things live in their environment. They constantly interact with it and change in response to conditions in their environment. In the environment there are interactions between animals, plants, soil, water, and other living and non-living things.
Since everything is part of the environment of something else, the word 'environment' is used to talk about many things. People in different fields of knowledge (like historygeography or biology) use the word environment differently. Electromagnetic environment is radio waves and other electromagnetic radiation and magneticfields. The galactic environment refers to conditions between the stars.[1]
In psychology and medicine a person's environment is the people, physical things, places, and epornvents that the person lives with. The environment affects the growth and development of the person. It affects the person's behavior, body, mind and heart.
Discussions on nature versus nurture are sometimes framed as heredity vs environment.

Natural environmentEdit

In biology and ecology, the environment is all of the natural materials and living things, including sunlight. If those things are natural, it is a natural environment. Some people call themselves environmentalists. They think we must protect the natural environment, to keep it safe. Things in the natural environment that we value are called natural resources. For example; fish, sunlight, and forests. These are renewable resources because they come back naturally when we use them. Non-renewable resources are important things in the environment that are limited for example, oresand fossil fuels. Some things in the natural environment can kill people, such as lightning.
Everything is surrounded by other things, so everything is the environment of something. This includes the biotic and abiotic factors that influence each other. Living elements: animals, plants, etc. are biotic elements, abiotic elements include air, water, sunlight etc. Studying the environment means studying the relationships among these various things.
